Where did the ClockWalk come from?
The Notts Clockwalk, a brainchild of local resident John Thurston during the lockdown and supported by the County Council's Rights of Way team, is a 60-mile trial route encircling Nottingham. Divided into 12 sections, it showcases the region's scenic villages, countryside, and rich historical tapestry.
Named for its 60-mile length, each mile symbolising a minute on the clock face, the Clockwalk offers participants the chance to explore Nottinghamshire's diverse landscapes. Accessible by bus or tram, this six-month challenge invites runners to complete the route either in one go or over multiple stages, promising an exhilarating journey through Nottingham's natural beauty and heritage with the added bonus of a sustainable trophy upon completion.

This is a great one on its own or for training towards the Full Robin Hood Way.
