The Robin Hood Way is a long-distance footpath that stretches across the picturesque landscapes of Nottinghamshire, England.

 

Named after the legendary outlaw, Robin Hood, this trail covers approximately 110 miles, taking trail runners through a diverse range of terrains, including woodlands, rolling hills, and charming villages. The route is known for its historical significance, as it passes through areas associated with the legendary tales of Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men.

 

Trail Runners on the Robin Hood Way can expect a mix of scenic beauty, cultural heritage, and a connection to the legendary folklore that makes this trail a captivating and enriching journey for outdoor enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

The trail passes historic landmarks of Nottinghamshire and some great countryside, from Nottingham Castle and through the old lands of the  Sherwood Forest boundaries.

Trent Valley Way
108 miles - 12 months

The Trent Valley Way is a captivating long-distance trail that winds its way through the picturesque landscapes of the Trent Valley, spanning from the estuary of the River Trent in North Lincolnshire to the confluence of the Rivers Dove and Trent in Staffordshire, England.

 

Covering approximately 108 miles, this scenic trail showcases the diverse beauty of the Trent Valley, featuring riverbanks, meadows, charming villages, and historical landmarks. The route offers a mix of natural tranquility and cultural richness, allowing walkers to explore the dynamic ecosystem and the region's fascinating history.

 

The Trent Valley Way is a well-marked trail, providing an immersive experience for outdoor enthusiasts, birdwatchers, and history buffs alike. With its diverse landscapes and captivating heritage, the Trent Valley Way promises a rewarding journey along the meandering course of the River Trent.

The Nottingham Clockwalk is an exhilarating urban challenge that invites participants to explore the historic city of Nottingham while testing their physical endurance and mental acuity.

 

Participants embark on a journey through the city suburbs, navigating their way to various points scattered across Nottingham's iconic landmarks.

 

Done as a traditional walk, people walk 12 sections of a clock of about 4 miles each - you could do that, but our challenge is to run the entire route.

 

The Clockwalk offers a unique blend of adventure, exploration, and physical exertion, making it an appealing challenge for both seasoned athletes and casual adventurers. Whether racing against the clock or simply enjoying the thrill of discovery, participants of the Nottingham Clockwalk are sure to experience the vibrant energy and rich history of this remarkable city.

The full route must be completed within six months, or you could go for the in under ultimate 24 hours.
